5. Mall of Asia in Metro Manila

There are many places to go in the Tropical Islands of the Philippines. If you’re into shopping you should really consider the Mall of Asia as one of your places to visit. Mall of Asia was built in 2006 by one of the biggest companies for super malls in the world and has a total of  600+ stores and a total square feet of 4.2 Million. The Mall also has an indoor arena for all types of sports. Another nice feature is that it is located right next to Manila Bay!

 

4. Chocolate Hills in Bohol

The Chocolate Hills is home to more than 1260 brown hills and is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Philippines with more than 1 million people visiting per year. The Hills are located on the island of Bohol next to one of the Philippines’ most famous cities, Cebu.

 

3. Mount Apo

Mount Apo is the Philippines highest point. It is located on the island of Mindino, the world’s fourth biggest island. The mountain is actually a stratovolcano, a volcano built up of alternate layers of lava and ash. The mountain soars to a elevation of 2954 meters above sea level.

 

2. Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park

If you like adventure in dark places, then Puerto Princesa Subterranean is the place for you! The Park has an underground river that is 8.2 kilometers long and is located in one of the world’s nicest tropical places to go, the province of Palawan.

 

1. Coron, Palawan

Coron is one of the most tropical places in the entire world. There are coral reefs, all types of sand, scuba diving, swimming with the fish, hot springs and much more. Also the native food there is some of the best. There are all types of places to go in the beautiful land of the Philippines, but Coron beats all!
