Masks versus Face Shields

Over the past few months, schools across the country have been shut down, and most public places require patrons to wear masks. As hallways crowd once again, masks are now in the daily life of students and faculty of Harleton High School.
Most people wear a cloth or disposable mask or a face shield from online or Walmart, and others had them made for them. Despite these options, many students and staff say the masks bother them and make it hard to breathe, even migraines in some cases. Others said they didn’t like the masks because their glasses fog up, or they believe they cause or worsen acne. Many choose not to use the face shields because they are less effective.
Despite the discomfort, students and staff at HHS do believe the masks are effective and help everyone stay safe.
